It was back in 2021, when Kangana Ranaut was inciting new controversies every other day, and more troubles for herself land her fans, by letting her unfiltered thoughts float on Twitter.
One such Tweet about the post-election West Bengal violence was labelled as inflammatory and ‘hate-inciting’ by the platform, leading to the termination for her account with immediate effect.
Flash forward to 2023, with Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform, the actress’ Twitter handle has finally been restored to it’s original standing – just like the actress had hoped when Musk took over a few months ago.
Announcing her return to the platform, Kangana wrote in her first Tweet in two years:
“Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here”
In her second Tweet she announced the completion of her forthcoming film Emergency, which sees her in the role of India’s former prime minister, the late Indira Gandhi.
While most fans celebrated the National Award winner’s return to the social media platform, some well-wishers also advised her to use it with caution for her own good.
Let us hope this will be a smoother sail than before for Ms. Ranaut.
