Kangana Ranaut Rocks Rs 600 Saree With Sheer Elegance, Says – ‘Style isn’t slave to international brands’

Over the past few years, Kangana Ranaut has transformed herself into the ultimate Saree-diva of Bollywood.

The actress has revived and revamped her wardrobe to include Indian fabric and sarees, which she often dons to places, no matter what the occasion.

Even during her Cannes appearance a couple of years ago the actress stunned everyone with her classic, throwback look, wearing a shimmery black saree and a 60’s-inspired hairdo.

Recently, the four-time National Award winner was seen at the airport in a simple yet elegant saree, which she later revealed only cost around 600 rupees.

The actress took to her Instagram stories to reveal that the saree was bought from a local market in Kolkata at only Rs 600.

Here is the Saree in question:

The star equated her possession to the act of promoting Indian-manufactured goods. She stated:

“This sari I bought from Kolkata for 600 rupees…style is not slave to international brands, be an ultra nationalist, promote your own…every action of yours must benefit this nation..you buy local it feeds many families…Vocal for local. Jai Hind.”

Needless to say, Kangana Ranaut carries all her sarees with sheer elegance.
