Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ FAILS To Make A Mark At The Box Office

Fans were convinced that Salman Khan’s latest venture ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ may prove to be a mass attraction like his fellow superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s recently released Pathaan, which also featured a cameo from the Dabangg actor. But that was not to be.

Even as the film enters it’s second theatrical week, it has not made any waves at the box office.

Made on a whopping budget of ₹150 crores, the Farhad Samji directed film has only grossed ₹163.65 crores worldwide thus far, as of 1st May 2023. Which means even at it’s second weekend, the film has dipped further – proving yet another commercial setback for Khan.

On day 11 of it’s release the film has only grossed a disappointing 2 crores at the domestic box office, further dipping down.

The box office of the film has also been affected by the recently released Ponniyin Selvan 2 – the mega budget Mani Ratnam epic, that is proving to be a massive hit worldwide. But it was the overall poor critical reception and bad word of mouth from audiences, that proved to be the biggest enemy of Kisi Ka Bhai…

The setback might hit home for Salman as the film has been produced by his mother Salma Khan under the actor’s production banner – Salman Khan Films.
