Dharmendra Set To Make His OTT Debut At 87, Shares First Look From Series ‘Taj Divided By Blood’

Legendary Bollywood icon Dharmendra is all set to make his first appearance in the world of OTT.

At age 87, the seasoned star is set to debut with his first role in a web-series.

The ‘Apne’ actor will be featured in the forthcoming show ‘Taj Divided By Blood’ and has also shared his first-look as Shaikh Salim Chisti from the series.



In a role that appears very different from the kind of work he’s mostly done, Dharmendra is seen in quite a makeover to transform into his role.

Taking his fans by surprise on Twitter, the actor shared his first-look and wrote in the caption – “Friends, i am playing Shaikh Slim Chishti ….a sufi saint, in film Taaj. A small but an important role………need your good wishes”

Twitter users were taken by surprise with his latest undertaking, as many congratulated him for the catchy transformation and also expressed their desire to look forward to the series.

The series has been curated by Contiloe Digital and will depict what behind the curtains at the sacred spaces of the Mughal empire.



The series has been produced by William Borthwick, and has been directed by Ronald Scalpello – who has previously served as an in-house director for BBC.

It is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform – Zee5.
