India’s Official Entry To Oscars Chhello Show Shortlisted For International Feature Film

While RRR is earning rave reviews abroad, and is gearing up for competition in the main categories at the upcoming Oscars – India has another film to look forward to as the award-season arrives.

it is this year official entry from the country, the Gujarati film – Chhello Show or Last Film Show, which has made it to the recently announced shortlist in the ‘International Feature Film’ category.



The coming-of-age drama directed by Pan Nalin has been shortlisted along with 15 other films from 15 countries, which will further be competing for the final set of nominations that will be announced soon.

As for RRR – the film is aiming to compete in the main ‘Best Picture’ and ‘Best Director’ categories, among others. But we’re also equally curious to see if this small yet beautiful Gujarati film makes it’s mark at the Academy awards.
