Sehwag reacts strongly after reports claimed that team India was served bad quality food in Sydney

Many reports have come up claiming that the Indian team management is unhappy with the arrangements at the ongoing T20 world cup in Australia.

As per reports the team was served cold food and just sandwiches after an intense training session where the team was expecting a full lunch.

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag also reacted strongly on the matter and said that India is way ahead of most of them when it comes to hospitality.

The explosive batsman took to his twitter and wrote, “Gone are the days when one used to think that the Western countries offer so good hospitality. India are way ahead of most western countries when it comes to providing hospitality of the highest standards.”

A BCCI official shared the development to PTI and said, “It’s not like any boycott… Some players did pick up fruits and falafel but everyone wanted to have lunch and hence they had food going back to the hotel,”

He further said, “The problem is that the ICC isn’t providing any hot food after lunch. In a bilateral series, the host association is in charge of catering and they always provide hot Indian meals after a training session. But for ICC, the rule is the same for all countries,”

Let us see if BCCI intervenes here to arrange hot Indian meals for our players.
