Bollywood has time and again seen itself getting embroiled in drugs-related controversies. But the discussion has been the most vivid and strong in the past couple of years, particularly after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput – which launched endless probes involving some big-shots.
Recently Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son, Aryan Khan was also caught-up in the mix after being arrested from a cruise party, but he was later acquitted off the charges and released.
Now Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has also made some striking allegations against the Hindi film industry, stating that it is engulfed with substance uses.
The yoga guru also dropped some names while making these tall claims during his speech at Aryaveer and Veerangana conference in Moradabad.
He said:
“Salman Khan takes drugs, I do not know about Aamir Khan. Shah Rukh Khan`s child was caught while taking drugs and remained in jail. As far as actresses are concerned, God alone knows about them.”
Not only that, he further added:
“There are drugs all around the film industry, there are drugs in politics too. Liquor is distributed during elections. We should take a resolution that India must be free from every drug addiction. For this we will launch a movement.”
Would be interesting to know if any of these names, Ramdev has dropped in his speech, would respond in the coming days…
