Disha Vakani has been missing from the scene in the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
The actress, who recently gave birth to another child, is busy with her personal life and family – and has not been seen in the show for a while now.
It was earlier reported that her omission from the show was due to some pay-disparity and discrepancies, however no confirmation was made on that regard.
Now that fans were eagerly awaiting for the return of her ‘Dayaben’ character on the show, some online reports have been suggesting that the actress – after all this while, might get replaced by Rakhi Vijan.

Rakhi – who is most famous for her 90’s sitcom ‘Hum Paanch’ might be the new Dayaben of the show, according to some reports.
On the contrary, the show’s producer – Asit Kumarr Modi had recently assured fans that the character will be returning to the show after all, however there was no clear comment on Disha’s return.
Would be interesting to see how this unfolds, especially considering Disha had made this character her own, playing it in a unique, inimitable fashion.
