Karan Johar’s birthday party was a star-studded affair, in which the who’s who of tinsel town arrived fashionably dressed to the occasion.
Nearly every A-list celeb from Bollywood was present at KJo’s 50th birthday bash, which was loaded with just as many fashion statements as it was with fashion faux pas.
Right outside the venue celebs also posed for the shutterbugs, flaunting their different attires, which made it seem like a red carpet even for IIFA.
One such people featuring popular besties and actresses – Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Malaika Arora Khan – went viral on social media, but for all the wrong reasons as the trio was trolled by a few on internet for their look and their appearance.
Some of the nasty remarks also reeked of ageism, as the three ladies were called “3 Buddi” by some on internet.
Firing back at such trolls in a feisty reply, Kareena Kapoor took to her Instagram story with a screenshot of the comment in which three were called “Buddhi”.
Here’s what she said:
“So…. buddhi is meant as an insult?? Cos for me it’s just a word.. a word that means old?! Yes we are older.. n wiser… but you, are nameless, faceless, ageless? And so are your folks?!”
