The two mega blockbusters released in the past couple of weeks in India, have broken the dry spell at the ticket counter that had risen due to the global health crisis.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR and the sequel to KGF starring none other than Yash, have both crossed the 1000 crore mark at the box office.
KGF 2, which is now one past past it’s release date is still going strong at the box office, and has now crossed the 1200 crore mark in it’s gross collections.
The Prashanth Neel directed film has also surpassed Rajamouli’s mammoth production – RRR at the box officer. The Ram Charan and Jr. NTR starrer had grossed a staggering total of ₹1,150 crores.
While KGF 2 – 38 days after its release, has minted Rs 1217 crore worldwide.
Both KGF 2 and RRR now rank 3rd and 4th, respectively, in the list of the highest grossing Indian films of all time.
