Sameer Wankhede’s Father Files 1.25 Crore Defamation Case Against Nawab Malik

As the string of allegations and accusations again NCB officer Sameer Wankhede and his family continue to be thrown out of thin air, his family has finally taken a legal route to retaliate and give an answer.

Nawab Malik – who’s been front and center in this entire controversy, has made a number of allegations against Wankhede and his family, responding to which now, Sameer’s father Dhyandev Kachruji Wankhede has filed a 1.25 crore defamation case against him.



The suit has been filed at Bombay High Court, in which it has specifically been pointed out that the numerous statements made by Malik have defamed his family.

The 72 year old has also sought a permanent injunction restraining Nawab Malik from making any more defamatory allegations against his family.

The compensations are sought for “irreparable loss, damage, harm, prejudice to the name, character, reputation and societal image of plaintiff and his family members” for public remarks that are “tortious and defamatory in nature”.

Meanwhile, the court has already sought a reply from Malik and his advocate on the matter and it is yet to be heard what they have to say.
