As celebrities continue to come forward with their support for actor Shah Rukh Khan’s troubled son – Aryan, who’s presently under arrest by the NCB for his alleged involvement in sale/purchase of illegal drugs, we’re hearing new statements from Bollywood by the minute.
Now actress Taapsee Pannu has also lent her 2 cents to the controversy, stating that celebrities often bear the brunt of things more than common folks.
The ‘Thappad’ actress was quoted saying the following in a recent interview of hers:
“It’s very sad that we as celebrities face the brunt of things, more than anybody else would have. When we do good, we get appreciated more than a common person would. But when something wrong happens to us, we are also criticised much more. So, that’s a sad part of being a celebrity.”

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, the actress had also stated:
“That’s a part and parcel of being a public figure. And, that’s a baggage every public figure’s family also carries, whether they like it or not. You have the positives of enjoying a star status and this is the kind of negative that also comes with it. If it’s a family of a big star, you also enjoy the perks of that, right? So, there’s a negative side also that you end up facing.”
