Akshay Kumar is set to reprise to the role of Major General Ian Cardozo, a decorated war hero of India’s Gorkha Regiment – whose astonishing story is soon going to be immortalized on the big screen.
Reuniting with filmmaker Aanand L Rai, the film entitled ‘Gorkha’, will focus on the life of Cardozo of the 5th Gorkha Rifles.
The legendary war-hero had fought for India in multiple battles in – 1962, 1965, and most notably in the Indo-Pak War of 1971.
The star took to his social media to announce the news and share the first look of the exciting new venture.
He wrote:
