The 2016 released Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film was released under the banner of Yash Raj Films, and earned the studio a handsome chunk at the box office.

The film was released in the year 2015 and broke all box-office records at that time.

1) Hum Aapke Hai Koun – ₹202 crore – equivalent to ₹1,317 crores today

Although without adjusting inflation, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been popularly regarded as Salman’s top-grosser, but if one is truly ascertain the actual box-office impact of his films, this Rajshri Productions mega-hit will shatter all records. The film earned massive 200+ crores at the box office in the year 1994, which translates to approx 1300 crores of today. Imagine the craze for it back in the 90’s when no multiplexes existed in the country!
