Kangana Ranaut has taken it upon herself to celebrate her range as an actress.
The National Award winning star of movies like ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Queen’, recently took to her social media handle to share images from her upcoming, much-awaited flick ‘Thalaivi’ – in which she would be seen addressing the role of Tamilnadu’s late Chief Minister – Jayalalitha.
The actress had apparently gained a significant amount of weight to look the part and the first images showcasing just that vividly, are stunning to say the least.
Jayalalitha, was first gained popularity as an actress in Southern Indian cinema, before venturing into politics and establishing herself as one of the most influential figures in Tamilnadu – as been depicted by Ranaut in the yet-to-be-released flick, under the direction of A.L. Vijay.

But apart from the contrasting images of her two upcoming flicks – Thalaivi and Dhaakad, which pretty much speak of her craft herself, the actress decided to pat herself on the back with her craft, also comparing herself to three-time Oscar winning Hollywood legend – Meryl Streep.

There’s no denying Kangana’s versatility as an actress, but it also goes without saying that every artist gets to grow the most when they allow themselves to remain humble about their gift.
Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see what Ms. Ranaut brings to the table now!
