Ever since Kangana Ranaut made a comment about Mumbai, stating how it feels to her that city seems to have turned into ‘POK” wherein she has to feel insecure about her own safety, there have been a number of shocking exchange of words.
Following the actress’ remarks about the the film-city, a number of Shivsena leaders have spoken out against her, while she has also reportedly received threats pertaining to her arrival in the city.
While the threats continue to pour, challenging her to come back to the city, Kangnaa’s father has also released a statement concerning the actress’ safety.
The first one from her family to speak about the actress’ controversies, Amardeep Singh Ranaut has expressed his concerns over his daughter’s safety, asking the government to provide security to the ‘Queen’ actress.

In a recent statement to Outlook, here’s what Mr. Ranaut said:
“as a father, I am naturally concerned about my daughter. Right now, she is at our Manali residence. I am driving from my village (in Mandi district) to Manali to meet her, and share my concerns with her too”.

He further added:
“Kangana is at home, and safe in Himachal Pradesh. But, now she has expressed her desire to return to Mumbai. In the light of her statement, I appeal to the centre to provide her required security to ensure she isn’t harmed“.
This continues to get shocking and uglier by the day. And we can’t help but feel concerned about a woman’s safety, considering the kind of threats that have been made at her direction in the recent past.
May be, considering the heat of the moment, the government should consider providing security to her.
