A day after Kangana Ranaut’s father expressed concerns over the actress’ safety, home ministry of India has granted Y-Plus category security to the ‘Queen’ star.
The actress, who had engaged in a war of words with Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut – after she stated that she feels unsafe in Mumbai and compared it to POK, reportedly received multiple threats following her remark.
Sanjay Raut later invited internet’s wrath by using profanity against the actress, as she continued to assert that it is her right to visit the city and no one would be able to stop her.
After I gained success I was offered big hero, big banner films but I refused all faced huge opposition struggled a lot and the very first independent film of mine that I did is about the glorious Maratha history Shiva Ji Maharaj and Rani Laxmi Bai because https://t.co/eUNr58UPBM

This led her father to ask the government for some type of security for the 33 year old, which was granted by home ministry today.
According to the Y-grade security norms, around 10 to 11 armed commandos will be provided to the actress, with round the clock security and also one personnel deployed at her residence.

Let us hope this doesn’t get any uglier than it already is.
