Talk about beauty with brains.
Aishwarya Sheoran – who was a finalist in a past Miss India competition, has cracked UPSC Civil Services exam and is on her way to become an IPS officer.
The former Miss India participant has secured 93rd rank in UPSC Civil services exam, nearly 6 years after she was chosen among the 21 finalist of the beauty competition.
But despite her advent to the world of modelling and beautiful competitions, Sheoran insists that she always wanted to be a civil servant.
“My mother named me Aishwarya after Aishwarya Rai because she wanted me to become Miss India, and I was eventually chosen in the top 21 finalists for Miss India,” she recollected.
Speaking about her tough preparations for the exam, Aishwarya further stated:
“I had to switch off my phone, social media, everything, to focus on the exam and the result is here. But it’s not that I suddenly generated interest in studies. I was always studious.”
