At a recent star-studded event in Mumbai, Bollywood celebs took the opportunity to publicly pass on their wishes to the great Lata Mangeshkar.
The songstress – who’s been admitted to the ICU of Mumbai’s Beach Candy hospital since Monday morning, has been slowly recovering from a severe bout of chest infection and pneumonia, and has since received countless wishes from all across the country.
After the likes of Shabana Aazmi, Hema Malini and Adnan Sami wished for her speedy recovery, it was turn for the likes of Malaika Arora, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Shahid Kapoor and Sonali Bendre, among others, to pass their positive thoughts for the legendary singer’s betterment.
While the silence from Bollywood all this while was astonishing, considering we’re talking about one of the biggest musical legends this country has given birth to, we’re glad the B-town celebs are sharing their thoughts and prayers with the public – even if it comes while addressing the media during another event altogether.
