Remember there was a time when kids and kids-at-heart used to stay hooked on to their TV sets to watch the many fantasy-driven sitcoms to pass the day? Yes, we’re talking about the time before YouTube and Facebook took over everything.

Apart from the several Hindi-dubbed American series that were usually aired after school-time, there were also a number of Indian-originals which managed to strike a chord with the Desi audiences. One of them was the magical and naughty, fantasy sitcom – ‘Shararat.’

 

Loosely based on the American show, ‘Sabrina, The Teenage Witch’ – the show concentrated on an ordinary-looking family, whose female members were blessed with some incredible supernatural powers!

Nearly a decade since the show concluded, the main cast members of the entertaining sitcom recently had a mini-reunion and it was enough to take fans on a bitter-sweet ride of major nostalgia.

Catching up yet again, like a big old family, were the show’s main actors – like Shruti Seth, Farida Jalal and Karanvir Bohra, to name a few.

The cast had actually come together for actress Simple Kaul’s new restaurant 1BHK Brew House Kitchen, but the pictures are enough to make you wish for an actual on-screen reunion!
