Amitabh Bachchan was seriously injured while filming a sequence for his upcoming film – Project K.
The superstar took to his social media to announce let his fans know that he had to cancel his ongoing shoot due to a severe form of injury which required immediate hospitalization and rest.
The 80 year old actor, who has been consistently releasing and creating films throughout his career, was reportedly shooting an action sequence for the film, which is when things turned south and he was faced with an injury.
The ‘Black’ actor writes that he has broken a rib cartilage and also faces a muscle tear around the same area, because of which his doctors have advised a thorough scan, and rest for a couple of weeks.
He wrote:
“I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. cancelled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain..”
Big B is truly an inspiration for people of all age-groups due to his continued drive to work and excel, age no bar.
