Just a day after Bollywood love-birds Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Rajasthan, reports are rife about another rumoured couple.
It was being reported earlier on Wednesday that Kriti Sanon is set to get engaged with none other Baahubali star and her close friend, Prabhas.
The duo had recently filmed the mega-budget epic saga – Adipurush, and were also seen promoting the film at various events.
But according to some reports, the duo are not only said to be dating – but also planning a destination engagement in – Maldives!
The rumour was apparently triggered by a popular “Twitter Critic” named Umair Sandhu who wrote:
“BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives!! So Happy for them.”
Interestingly, neither of the two have every even confirmed their relationship or if at all they’re dating.
But as for the rumoured engagement, Prabhas’ team responded by denying all the media reports and claims. The spokesperson added that the news about their engagement is not true at all, and they’re only friends.
However, considering how another Bollywood couple – Katrina Kaifi and Vicky Kaushal had previously managed to keep it all extremely hush-hush, all the way until their union was officiated by a wedding – you never really know.
Well, as they say – there’s no smoke without fire. Would be interesting to see where this story goes now…
