Sharmila Tagore along with her daughter and grandchild pays tribute to Nawab Pataudi on his birth anniversary

On the occasion of the 82nd birth anniversary of former Indian cricket team captain, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, his family paid a visit to his grave to pay their heartfelt tribute.

Veteran actress and Nawab Pataudi’s wife Sharmila Tagore was there with her daughter Soha Ai Khan and granddaughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Nawab Pataudi is buried at his ancestral home, Patuadi Palace.



Sharmila Tagore wore a white coloured jacket with a pair of pants and white casual shoes, while Soha donned a red woolen sweater with pants and a brown winter cap. Soha’s daughter wore a green sweater with heart printed on it. The three generations of the family stood their quietly to pay their tribute to their beloved family member.

The Tum Mile actress took to her Instagram to share the pictures from their visit. “She wrote in the caption, The people you love never die”

Fans also paid tribute to Nawab Pataudi be showering love on the post, one fan wrote “lives in our hearts forever.”

While other fans dropped heart emoji’s in the comments section.



Saba Ali Khan also took to her Instagram to pay tributes to her late father through an adorable collection of images, showing him in his cricket uniform and the video clip comprising of all the pictures also had a vintage picture of him with his wife Sharmila Tagore.

While sharing the clip with her social media followers, Saba wrote, “Happy Birthday Abba….You’re Missed. Loved. Remembered … Today n FOREVER. You’re ALWAYS with me…in spirit. I can STILL COUNT ON YOU!”

The former Indian cricket team captain, also known as Tiger, passed away at the age of 70 in 2011 after battling a lung infection.
