‘Naatu Naatu’ is set to make history at the Academy Awards.
At the recently announced Oscar nominations, the energetic song from SS Rajamouli’s RRR has scored a nod in the ‘Best Song’ category.
Announced by Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams, the nominations came as a surprise for team RRR who were also expecting a nod in the main ‘Best Picture’ category, but sadly the film failed to make the final top 10 and did not score a nomination there.
However, it is big cheer for the famous dance-anthem which got American audiences dancing in 2022, as it finds it’s way in the ‘Best Song’ category, alongside performers like Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
