Nawazuddin Siddiqui has taken-up another big venture, that got his ardent fans talking earlier this week.
The talented actor was elated to announce his new colaboration with Venkatesh Daggubati for the upcoming film Saindhav. The actor went on to add that it is his first Telugu film and the event was marked by a muhurrat celebration organized by the makers of the film.
The film is being directed by Sailesh Kolanu, and during the auspicious start of the venture – the actor was seen joining the rest of the cast in the celebratory start, in the old traditional fashion.
But it was Nawaz’s picture of joining hands in front of a picture of Lord Hanuman that grabbed everyone’s attention.
While there were many who saw the beauty in it, and praised Nawaz for his showcase of secularism. The actor was also attacked by a series of trolls who went after him for worshipping a Hindu god.
Several derogatory comments were seen on Siddiqui’s Instagram posts, which not only mocked the actor but also mocked the practice.
Nawazuddin remains unfazed by the attack.
He will begin shooting for the film soon and will next be seen in the Kangana Ranaut produced much awaited venture ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ – which will see him in a never before avatar.
