A couple of weeks ago, rumours across the continent were very rife about the possibilities of divorce between Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik.
After cryptic messages on Sania’s Instagram handle, it was being reported by several media outlets that the couple was set to part their ways and it was due to an involvement of a third person.
Online reports claimed Shoaib was having an affair with Pakistani model/actress Ayesha Omar, after pictures from their steamy photo shoot went viral.
Neither Shoaib nor Sania came forth to clear the rumors, however weeks after they did announce that they were going to do a show together, putting all the separation rumours to rest.
Now, Ayesha Omar herself has broken her silence on the matter and stated that she is only a good friend of the former cricketer.
Replying on social media, Ayesha said:
“Not at all. Unki shaadi hui hai aur woh apne biwi ke sath bohot khush hai. I respect both of them. Shoaib is a good friend of mine and we only wish the best for each other. Such relationships also exist in the universe.”

Sania and Shoaib have a son together named Izhaan who was born in 2018. The couple has not officially made any statement pertaining to all these rumours as of now.
