It was the 72nd birthday of superstar Rajnikanth on the 12th of December.
The highly revered ‘mass hero’ of countless Southern and Bollywood films has been working as an actor for nearly 60 years and has made his presence felt among the masses even with his recent releases.
As the much-loved actor turned 72. wishes from across the film industries flew for the star.
Aside from his devout fans who gave all kinds of tributes to him on social media, actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan and Dhanush also extended their wishes for him.
In his Tweet, Kamal Haasamd wrote – “Happy birthday to my dear friend Superstar @rajinikanth Wish you on this auspicious day to continue your journey of success.”

Rajnikanth is presently gearing for the release of his new film Jailer, which is scheduled for a release on 14 April 2023.
His last film was the 2021-released Annaatthe – which went on to gross 250 crores at the box office.
