Kantara is now available on multiple streaming platforms in different languages and is close to ending it’s box office run. .
But it is not before the film bows-out in grand-style from the box office.
The worldwide collection of the Rishabh Shetty film presently stand at a whopping, 460 crores – which is incredible considering it was made on a small budget of just 16 crores.
This makes it one of the biggest success-stories of Indian cinema.
Not only that, the film has now entered the list of the top 20 all-time highest grossing films of the country.
And in doing so – with it’s worldwide total so far, it has surpassed film like Brahmastra, Chennai Express, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Simmba, Happy New Year and Kick, among others.
Surprisingly, Kantara is still running on limited screens even after completing multiple weeks at the box office. This is also due to the fact that viewers have lauded it as a mega theatrical experience due to it’s stunning visuals and background music.
Needless to say, Kantara is one success story – that many would crave to emulate in the years to come.
But what makes it special is how true to it’s content and story it has been, which enabled it to strike a chord with desi audiences.
