Kangana Wraps Schedule Of ‘Emergency’, Begins Shoot For Chandramukhi 2

Kangana Ranaut’s purse is filled with more offerings than most actors of today can dream of.

Despite her recent box office setbacks, the actress shows no signs of stopping, as the 4-time National Award winner remains a hot-favorite among filmmakers.



Now after wrapping the Assam shoot of her highly anticipated directorial venture ‘Emergency’, in which she is famously essaying the role of former PM of India – Indira Gandhi, the actress has immediately begun the shoot for her yet another new film – Chandramukhi 2.

It was a few days ago, Kangana confirmed the news about her involvement in the horror-comedy, which serves as a sequel to the 2005-released Tamil-languages hit.

Chandramukhi 2 is being directed by P. Vasu and it will also star Anushka Shetty and Raghava Lawrence.

Apart from these two thrilling projects, Kangana also has Sita: The Incarnation in her bag, which will see her present a different outlook into the life of goddess Sita.

Her film Tejas is also finished and ready for release in next year’s summer.



She has also been roped-in to play iconic Bengali theater artist Noti Binodini in her biopic, being directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

The next couple of years seem promising for the actress, and the filmography she’s continually building for herself.
