Avatar 2: The Way Of Water Shatters Box Office In India, Earns Nearly 200 Crores In One Week

James Cameron’s Avatar sequel is shattering global box office, even as it releases 13 years after the first part came out.

And India remains one of it’s biggest markets.

The film has managed to gross a whopping 191 crores at the box office within it’s first week of release in the country.

In a year that saw many big-budget Bollywood films struggling to hold their ground at the box office, Hollywood has been consistently delivering hits in the country.

Avatar: The Way Of Water started off phenomenally at the box office in India, with an opening weekend collection of nearly 126 crores.

As it starts of it’s second week at the box office, it is expected the film will cross the 200 crore mark on it’s 8th day and second Friday, as there isn’t another big release to challenge it’s position as of now.

The film has been made on a budget of a whopping $460 million and has already grossed $609.8 million globally within it’s first week of release.

It is safe to say James Cameron’s film will close the year with a bang.
