Kangana Ranaut Meets Assam CM Himanta Biswa As She Begins Shoot For Emergency In North-East

Kangana Ranaut is at full force right now, working at one of her most ambitious projects off late.

The National Award winning actress is off to North-East Indian state Assam, where she is set to shoot a couple of schedules for her ‘Emergency’, which sees in the role of late prime minister of India – Indira Gandhi.



Kangana, who is also directing the much-talked about film, also got the opportunity to meet Assam Chief Minister during her visit and shared the images from their meeting on social media.

The actress wrote:

“Such a delight to meet Honourable Chief Minister Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma ji….
He extended his support for our team as we begin our outdoor schedule very soon in various locations across Assam …
Such an honour and privilege to get his support and encouragement”

Kangana wore an Assam-cotton Saree in the color green, which she spoke highly about.

Her film Emergency will hit the screens in 2023, but before that her long-anticipated film ‘Tejas’ will hit the theaters earlier on May, 2023.



Here’s hoping that next year ends the dry spell for the talented actress.
