After garnering decent numbers at the box office upon it’s theatrical release, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’ finally found an OTT release earlier this week.
With it’s advent to Disney+ Hotstar platform, the film has opened it’s doors to a new set of audience, which had not seen it in the theaters and the first-reviews post it’s OTT release are not all that great.
While there are also ardent fans who have appreciated the movie, just as they had done after watching it at the theaters, there are also those who severely thrashed the film for it’s dialogues and “cringe” love story.
While some called it a ‘laser light show’, there were also those deemed it a “wannabe Marvel movie.”
See how audience has reacted to the film:
1)

In #Brahmastra, there are cringe dialogues, cringe love story, just some shitty script, animation like VFX, faltu ke songs and unacceptable casting… This movie is full of irrelevance and yet trending. This shows that Indians do not actually want good movies. Happy with shit.

And when #AliaBhatt comes – it becomes super CRINGE

Apparently the film is not sitting well with the masses. And with it’s box office numbers verging on ‘average’ with nothing record-shattering to boast about, would be interesting to see if the makers dare to go ahead with a sequel.
