SS Rajamouli Earns Standing Ovation Once Again In Los Angeles For Another Film After ‘RRR’

Rajamouli and his larger-than-life brand of action-films have earned quite a repertoire.

After the magnanimous success of his Baahubali series, the filmmaker garnered unprecedented acclaim with his 2022-released mega blockbuster – RRR, which has gone where most Indian films don’t, as far as international recognition and fame is concerned.

Serving as the biggest export of Indian cinema this year, the film has been showcased across a broad range of international festivals and events, and has been widely recognized by non-Desi audiences – who are loving the energetic dance and action sequences of the real-life inspired escapade.

Just weeks ago, the filmmaker had earned several standing ovations across the United States for the ongoing theatrical run of the film internationally, and just when the talks for the film’s Oscar submission are underway, he has another film to boast of that has started to catch attention.

Rajamouli’s film Eega was also recently screened at a Los Angeles theater, and the reception he garnered for it was no less than – RRR.

It is clear to see the filmmaker has established quite a brand for himself, as the audience was seeing going berserk and giving a standing ovation to the film, just like they did with the recent screening of RRR.

Interestingly, the film was actually released 10 years ago, and has now garnered international fame, due to the ongoing hype of Rajamouli’s RRR.

This is being showcased at the Beyond Film Festival, who are celebrating Rajamouli’s other films also, including – Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali: The Conclusion, Magadheera and Maryada Ramanna, among others.

Would be interesting to see how all this hullaballoo helps the makers fare well at the upcoming Academy Awards
