Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri make the most looked-upon and talked-about couple of Bollywood.
The duo have been married for over 30 years now and still continue to ooze the same level of spark and chemistry that they did back in the day.
Shah Rukh tied the knot with Gauri back in the year 1991 – several years before he delivered some of the biggest hits of his career, for which he is remembered (like Dilwaale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai). Interestingly, the two met way before he made his acting debut, in the year 1984 – so the companionship has really lasted for pretty long time.
Despite initial apprehensions from Gauri’s family, due to their different religious backgrounds (SRK being a Muslim, and Gauri coming from a Hindu family) the two proved their naysayers wrong and slowly transformed into one of the ‘golden’ couples of showbiz.
They had their first son Aryan in 1997 – and then two more kids later on – Suhana and AbRam Khan, who complete their family now. And despite all the up’s and down’s they have had, and the media scrutiny they’ve been through SRk-Gauri remain a much-loved couple among fans.
