2010’s offered us an unprecedented level of variety in Hindi cinema, with the advent of new-age filmmakers who were willing to take risks with unconventional scripts like never before.
While the unconventional cinema continued to be on rise, the mainstream too saw some new names and faces, become bigger and bigger.
New breed of actors in the realm, like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh – continued to make name for themselves, and gave some of the most memorable hits of the decade.
There was also Sushant Singh Rajput, who sadly passed away by the end of the decade in 2020, but gave one after another – fabulous performances. Sushant was one of those stars, who came from the small-screen, but made a huge name and place for themselves in showbiz – with an ardent fan following.
Varun Dhawan – on the other hand was a consistent performer at the box office, whose films continued to make a mark when it came to mass appeal and BO collections.
