As the awarding season arrives – Kangana Ranaut and Kriti Sanon have clearly emerged as two favorites in the ‘Best Actress’ category.
While Kriti Sanon garnered praise for her work in ‘Mimi’, Kangana too has been lauded for her portrayal as Jayalalitha in the big-budget biopic, ‘Thalaivi’.
Although Kangana voluntarily made an exit from the Filmfare awards, after scoring a nomination, due to her own personal disbelief in their awarding system – she still went on to win an award at the South Indian International Movie Awards for the film.
As for Kriti, she took home the Filmfare trophy this year in the ‘Best Actress’ category, beating the likes of Vidya Balan, Kiara Advani and Taapsee Pannu.
Needless to say, both actress have given fantastic performances this year and deserve everything that is coming their way.
