After Wishing To Sue Over Remix, Falguni Pathak Joins Neha Kakkar On Indian Idol For A Performance

Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak went back and forth with their indirect disses, targeted at the Kakkar’s remix of the latter’s hit song from the 2000’s – ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’.

Neha – who’s known for remaking songs from the 90’s and 80’s was at the receiving end of some of the harshest criticism she’s received lately, as she was called-out by netizens for “ruining” a classic. Falguni too chimed-in on the debacle, and expressed how she wished she could ‘sue’ Kakkar, if she had the rights to the original recording – she sang back in the year 1999.

Now after days of going back and forth online, the two apparently mended their differences to share the stage – in the most unexpected fashion.

Just when you would think, that they might be hating each other right now – the two were brought together face-to-face courtesy of Sony Television’s Indian Idol, which saw them both performing on the reality show, in one of their Navratri special episodes.

Neha too was seen giving props to Falguni, as she invited her on the stage, referring to her as ‘legendary’.

Needless to say, people online couldn’t help but wonder – if the whole controversy around Neha’s ‘O Sajna’ remix was a way to generate hype around that song – especially considering how quickly the two seemingly mended things with each other.

“Multiverse of Madness” – one user commented in the video. While another wrote – “Ya sab milkar humko pagal banarahe”.
