Actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and her long time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare are now engaged. The couple took to Instagram to announce a new chapter in their relationship by sharing identical posts.
Ira attended boyfriend Nupur’s cycling event at Italy, during which he proposed her in the most filmy way. Ira was standing among the crowd when Nupur came running towards her , went down on his knees, took the ring out and asked the precious question to which Ira replied ‘Yes’.
Sharing the video of the moment, they wrote in the caption, Popeye: She said yes (smiling face with hearts and red heart emojis). Ira: Hehe (smiling face, face with hand over mouth emojis) I said yes.”
As the soon as the post was shared congratulatory wishes started pouring in from friends and people from Bollywood, Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh commented, “This is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Uff. @nupur_shikhare so filmy uff.”
Rhea Chakraborty also reacted to the post and wrote, “Congratulations you guys.”
Crickter Yuvraj Singh’s better half Hazel Keech wished the couple and wrote, “Waaaaaaaaaaa Tich no more a Tich! Congratulations you two cuites!”. Gangs of Wassyepur actress Huma Qureshi commented to the post, OmG !! congratulations you both.”
The couple who is together for over two years often share stories and moments from their relationship on social media.
They recently celebrated their second anniversary and Ira wrote a heartfelt note on social media for Nupur, “It’s actually been two years but it’s feels like it was always like this. I love you. As truly and genuinely as I am capable of loving. For everything.” Reacting to Ira’s post, Nupur had commented, “I love you too. It was always meant to be like this, we just realized it 2 years back.”
