After Laal Singh Chaddha’s Failure At The Box Office, Aamir Khan To Take Break Of 2 Months In The US

Aamir Khan’s dream project and one of the most anticipated movies of 2022, Laal Singh Chaddha totally failed to the hype it got. The official remake of Hollywood classic Forest Gump could not pull the audience to theatres.

The movie only managed to collect around 50 crores in the Domestic box office in 2 weeks, it is made with a budget of Rs. 180 crores.



Now after the massive failure of the movie Aamir Khan is reportedly off for a break in the US with Ex-Wife Kiran Rao and son Azad.

As reported by Mid-day, Aamir Wanted to take a break after his movie received horrible response from the audience, a source close to the actor revealed.

“Given his perfectionist streak, Aamir had single-mindedly dedicated the past three years to Advait Chandan’s directorial venture. The actor wanted to take some time off before he got consumed by his next project. While the audience’s response to ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been heartbreaking, he has taken it in his stride. The actor wants to utilize the next few weeks to negotiate international sector release plans for the ‘Forrest Gump’ adaptation, while also enjoying the much-deserved break.” – the source close to Aamir reportedly revealed.



Laal Singh Chadha has got 5 out of 10 rating on the popular movies website IMDB. The film also received below average reviews from both the critics and fans. People also pointed out Aamir’s monotonous expressions and acting in the movie.

The movie also got a huge setback as the OTT platform Netflix reportedly pulled off from its deal of releasing the movie online due to bad response from the audience.
