Pankaj Tripathi got in touch with his roots, as he made a visit to his village – to take a break from home.
The talented actor was seen at his village in Gopalganj district in Bihar, where he was seen making Litti Chokha with his local friends.
While most of Bollywood celebs are seen sashaying away to extravagant international destinations, every time they plan a family getaway, Pankaj chose to get in touch with his roots by visiting his hometown.
The humble, down-to-earth and very much relatable vacation of Pankaj, reminded fans how grounded the star has always been.
Pictures of the actor preparing the popular local Bihari dish – Lithi Chokha on a coal fire, sitting in a squatting position along with his friends, with the bare minimum of extravagance, went viral.

Just like any other villager, Pankaj – also took a bath in the village’s tubewell.
After over a decade of struggle, to reach where he is today – Pankaj is one of those humbled stars, who have still not forgotten where they came from.
