Months after the first teaser of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of ‘Shaktimaan’ was announced, reports are rife that the makers may have finally picked their leading man.
It is being heavily reported by various media sources that the role of Indian television’s iconic superhero will now be played by none other than – Ranveer Singh.
The actor will reprise the role of the famous character from Doordarshan’s 90’s superhero, which was originally brought to the small screen by Mukesh Khanna.

The first cinematic adaptation of the concept, garnered a lot of attention, earlier when the logo and teaser of the film was announced, so it would be interesting to see how this shapes up, with someone as quirky and energetic as Ranveer in the picture.
Although, there’s no official confirmation yet to these reports, we do hope this gives us a stylish uplift to the character, in what is is being deemed a mega-budget venture.
