The award-season has begun in Bollywood and Vicky Kaushal has grabbed a ‘Best Actor’ trophy at the ongoing IIFA celebration in Abu Dabhi, for his unforgettable work in the film.

The critically acclaimed history drama featured him in the role of ‘Udham Singh’, who’s revered for avenging the deaths of several innocent civilians in the Jaliawallah Bagh massacre.

As for the ‘Best Actress’ trophy – it went to none other than – Kriti Sanon for her work in ‘Mimi’, a light-hearted comedy-drama – which featured her playing the role of a surrogate mother for a foreign couple.

While the two actors have grabbed the top two awards, the trophy for ‘Best Film’ has gone to ‘Shershaah’ – the emotionally-charged war-drama, which starred Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Best Director award has also been given to Vishnuvaradhan – for the same film.
