Kangana Ranaut Recruits Oscar Winning Make-Up Artist To Transform Into Indira Gandhi For ‘Emergency’

Despite her countless naysayers, Kangana Ranaut stays booked and busy.

The actress, has taken no time for gloom and doom after the disappointing response for her recently released action-thriller – Dhaakad, from which her whole team clearly had big expectations.



Not only does Kangana has another big released lined-up this year with – ‘Tejas’, she has also started shooting for her second film as as director – ‘Emergency’, in which she will be seen essaying the role of Indira Gandhi.

Kangana’s first venture as a director was her co-directorial effort, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ – which turned out to be a box office success back in 2019, generating over Rs. 165 crores worldwide.

In emergency, to get the best out of her look to resemble the former Prime Minister of India, Kangana has roped-in Oscar winning make-up artst – David Malinowski.

David – won an Academy award in the year 2017 for his work in the Darkest Hour, in which he transformed Gary Oldman into Winston Churchill.
