Indian’s Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman hosted a beautiful musical reception for daughter Khatija Rahman, who recently got married to Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed.
The reception is reportedly held in Chennai and was attended by several friends from the industry including rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, Sonu Nigam and Manisha Koirala.
Some of them even performed on stage to add to the celebrations of the musical night. Several videos and photos from the party has been shared widely on the internet.
Khatija wore a purple coloured Lehenga while husband Riyasdeen wore a black Tuxedo with a bow tie. AR Rahman was spotted in a blue coloured Kurta with a Jacket to go with it While his younger son Ameen wore a black sherwani.
Honey Singh also took to his Instagram to share a picture from the reception and wrote in the caption, “Best wishes to the blessed couple and congratulations to the whole AR RAHMAN sir’s families and fans!! @arrameen @arrahman.”

AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija is also a singer by profession and his son in law Riyasdeen Shaik is an audio engineer. Previously, the iconic composer shared the wedding news with his fans via social media by sharing a family picture that also had a portrait of his late mother.
