Vivek Agnihotri Reacts To Akshay Kumar Praising Kashmir Files ‘Majboori mein kya bolega aadmi’

The one odd thing about The Kashmir Files, which wasn’t hidden from the general public, was how despite all the success it received at the box office – several of Bollywood’s eminent personalities did not utter a word about it.

That is generally not the case – when a success story as big as TKF is written. But the topic of the film was made out to be so controversial, that several people kept astray from it.

And that hasn’t gone un-noticed by the film’s director, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.

Recently actor Akshay Kumar also lauded the film and gave it some praise during a press interaction and television special, which also featured Vivek as a guest. Although the filmmaker was all hearts for Akshay’s response to the film and expressed his gratitude on social media. But upon being quizzed further on Bollywood’s silence on the topic, he did not hold back either.

While Vivek acknowledged Akshay’s appreciation for the film, he did point out that he hasn’t received a single personal message from the industry, congratulating him.

Responding to the silence and selective praise of the industry, Vivek stated that while some people have chosen to remain silent, they do come out now and speak on public platforms about the film, when they have to promote their own upcoming pictures:

“Peeche koi nahi bolta sab public…Ek aadmi ne mujhe message nahi kiya…Sablog apni film promote karne jaate hai aur media waalein unse Kashmir Files ke baare mein puch lete hai. Toh unhe majboori mein kuch bolna padhta hai. Par apne mann se kisine kuch nahi bola”

Welp!

Looks like Vivek does not mince words when it comes to exposing his thoughts on the film industry.
