Sanjay Dutt shared a beautiful bond with both of his parents – the late Sunil Dutt and the late Nargis Dutt. And that often reflects in the manner he speaks of them in retrospect.
The actor recently got emotional sharing a heartfelt post for his mother, Nargis, on the anniversary of her passing.
The celebrated and iconic actress of Indian cinema had passed away tragically of pancreatic cancer on May 3, 1981.
Taking to his social media, Sanju shared a collage of different pictures of the legendary actress through the years, and wrote in the caption:
“Not a single moment goes by when I don’t remember you. Ma, you were the basis of my life and the strength of my soul. I wish my wife and kids would have met you for you to give them all your love and blessings. I miss you today and every day!”
Sanjay was extremely close to his mother, and she is said to have passed away just days before he was set to make his movie debut.
Truly a mother’s love is something that never really leaves, no matter how many years or decades pass you by.
RIP Nargis. There’s still no other one like you!
