One of Bollywood’s most popular actresses, specially of 90’s and early 2000’s – Preity Zinta welcomed her twins Gia and Jai last year through surrogacy. The actress shared the news with her husband Gene Goodenough, on Instagram, but kept the newborns away from social media. But that was until yesterday.
On the occasion of mother’s day, Preity shared an adorable picture of her twins with her mother Nilprabha Zinta and also wrote a long heartfelt note sharing her feelings and experience about the motherhood.
Here’s what the actress wrote on her Instagram –
“I never understood why my mother called me so much, worried about me constantly & wanted to know my whereabouts, as I galavanted around the world as a teenager & an adult, till I became a mother. Now I’m beginning to understand it. From thinking of myself first, to learning to put my kids first, I’m beginning to understand what motherhood is all about. It’s beautiful, empowering & a bit scary. ”
she further added:
“I hope my children are more sensitive & appreciative of me than I was towards my mother. Irrespective, I will learn to love my kids more & expect less like all mothers & do everything I can, so they grow up to be the best versions of themselves. The post touched fans hearts as they could not stop gushing over the picture shared by the bollywood star, some commented heart reactions and while others wished her to be an amazing mom in future.
Last year in November, Preity Zinta and husband Gene announced the arrival of their twins Gia and Jai in which she thanked the doctors, nurses and the surrogate for being part of their journey.
