Paresh Rawal Reveals If He Will Recreate His Iconic Character Of ‘Baabu Bhaiyya’ In Hera Pheri 3. Here’s What He Said…

Paresh Rawal is no doubt one of the most versatile actors we have in the industry.

When you look at his film, it is hard to believe that he’s the same man behind characters who are so far apart from each other, in moves like – Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Table No. 21 or Hera Pheri.

For the latter, the actor curated one of the most iconic characters in the comedy genre or in Indian cinema, in general, that was brought out to life by him and turned into a whole person, who had to have existed somewhere in the world.

With a lively character like him, when one thinks of a sequel to the film, it is hard to imagine it without the iconic character of ‘Baabu Laal Ganpat Laal Aapte’ AKA Baabu Bhaiyya.

But Paresh, the actor, is not as enthusiastic or in awe about that role, as the rest of us.

In fact, he has often been cited as saying that he tries to walk away from that image, that was carried on for years after the release of the film.

But in a recent interview with Etimes, the actor stated how he has no interest in starring in the third part of the film to recreate the iconic but caricature-ish character.

Paresh stated that the only interest that could persuade him to do a film like that would be a huge some of money.

The veteran actor stated that ‘except for money’, he would have no other reason to do a film like that, as there would be no joy in it for him.

Well, we trust an artiste like Paresh Rawal to known his art better than any of us. So if he says so, we’d stick to it too.

As for the character, it remains alive through the countless memes it has given birth to in today’s times.
