Bollywood’s ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut congratulates Kartik, Kiara Advani and the entire cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 for ending bollywood’s ‘dry spell’.
The Sequel of one of Bollywood’s most popular comedy movies, Bhool bhulaiyaa 2 did great at the box office on its very first day. The film has reportedly collected Rs. 14 crores on Friday, biggest opening of 2022 and the second biggest opening since Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi last year. The film has ended Bollywood’s dry run at the box office.
Kangana’s very own film Dhaakad was also released on this Friday along with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhualaiyaa 2. Although the estimate collections are yet to be disclosed but as per reports Kangana’s action thriller has failed to make an impact at the box office and was off to a poor start. Still, Kangana took to her instgram story to pen an appreciation and congratulatory note for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Kangana Wrote’ “Congratulations to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 for ending the dry spell at Hindi box office…congratulations to the entire team of the film.” Kangana tagged both Kartik and Kiara to her post.
With over 14 crore collection at the box office, Bhool Bhualaiyaa 2 has become Kartik Aaryan’s biggest opener. Before this, many big hindi movies failed to impress at the box office as Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ajay Devgn’s Mayday, John’s Attack and Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2, all performed poorly at the box office.
The last successful Hindi movie at the box office was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi that collected approx.. 10 crore at the box office.
After South Movies such as KGF, RRR and Pushpa’s immense success at the box office. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 can be considered a fresh start for Bollywood.
