AR Rahman’s Daughter Khatija Gets Married: See Pics From The Traditional Style Wedding

Celebrated music composer A.R. Rahman’s daughter Khatija tied the knot in a private ceremony earlier this week.

Surrounded by just a few of their close family members and friends, the 25 year old married her fiancé, audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed in a small, intimate and traditional Muslim wedding.



Taking to her Instagram account, Khatija wrote:

“The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man Riyasdeen. Costume conceptualized and styled by Shruti Agarwal, costume Assistant- Kriti Baid.”

A.R. Rahman also extended his wishes publicly to his daughter and son-in-law, sharing a picture of the couple on his Instagram profile and writing – “May the Almighty bless the couple…Thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love.”
